Rifugio Val Sorda

The poster design and menu layout for the annual events held at the Rifugio Val Sorda mountain hut in Borno. An ongoing piece of layout and visual promotion work, produced periodically to showcase the area's cultural, musical and food-and-wine initiatives.

The poster announces “Tra la vita e la vetta”, a concert for spoken voice and piano by Natalía Ratti built on stories of alpine rescue: an archive photograph of a mountain recovery, brush lettering, and hand-drawn highlights struck across the date and time, like marks on an annotated sheet. The names of the climbers and composers stay readable in one compact block, without stealing room from the image.

The two-day menu picks up the same alphabet in a lighter key: line drawings, courses spread over two columns, and the mountain profile closing the page. At the foot, the line that really matters — pay what you want, with proceeds going to the MAV's community work.
